I'm running MS Office 2010 on Windows 7. In the past two months, Outlook 2010 has turned off graphics on all my incoming email, even though I enabled Outlook to see all graphics. I can only assume that a Norton 360 upgrade has changed something. Help! Pat
Hi Pat,
I don't believe Norton is involved with this. It is more likely to have been caused by Office updates or an incorrect setting in the Outlook Trust Center.
Have you checked to be sure your preferred settings are as outlined in this Office 2010 KB?
Let us know.
Also check that your graphics driver is up to date.
Thanks, Phil. I checked the setting in the Outlook's trust center first thing. Disabling graphics is turned off, so it should be allowing the graphics like it always has. There are so many settings in Norton 360 that I don't understand. Outlook is pretty straightforward, so I know the settings are okay. This happened after our Norton subscription expired and we installed the newest version. Pat
Thanks, Peter. I'll check my graphics driver. pat

How long was the Norton product expired and what procedure was used to install the newest version?
Also, are you getting any notifications regarding images being blocked?
If so, could you post a screenshot? (how to post a screenshot)
Thanks!
We always purchase our newest version of Norton 360 a month or so before our copies begin to expire throughout the office. We install the new version a day or two before the old version expires. It automatically uninstalls the old version before it installs the new one.
The message we get isn't that the images have been blocked. Instead it says (in a little box with a little red x for the image):
"The linked image can't be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed, or deleted. Verify that the link points to the correct file and location." That message appears wherever there is an embedded image in the email.
Thank you for your help. Pat

Is this happenning on all your computers or just one?
Try turning off the setting for displaying graphics in Outlook. Close the program and restart the computer. Then turn the setting back on and see if it works.
it is only happening on this one computer. None of the rest have changed. I've tried changing the Outlook settings for graphics several times, but I didn't reboot. I'll give that a try. Thanks, Pat
