System: Win7-64 Outlook 2010, Norton 360
Email works fine with the Outlook folder with the .PST on drive E.
If I move the Outlook folder to another drive and configure Outlook properly, Outlook finds the .PST file and all works fine except I get error messages that it fails connecting to the ISP to check for new email.
Email setup is correct and in the email setup menu if I click on “Test Account Settings” it sends a test email to the ISP and it is received by the ISP.
Apparently either Outlook is confused or something is blocking Outlook from connecting to the internet if the .PST is located on another drive than my original installation on Drive E.
I have tried disabling Norton360 and the Firewall but the problem is still there. I have enabled Outlook logging but have not been able to see why it fails.
When I move the .PST file back to the Drive E: it works again so the problem is repeatable.
Help, I need suggestions on how to proceed.
