I've seen messages about this from last year, but can't seem to find a way to add to the message threads.
I have a new Toshiba laptop (Win 7 Home Premium, 6Gb RAM) running Office 2010. I added Norton Internet Security 2012 and find that Outlook 2010 will usually pause while loading. Outlook indicates that it's loading the Norton Antispam Outlook Plugin. The pause is typically anywhere from 30 seconds to up to 5 minutes. Clearly this is not a workingi properly.
Unfortunately, none of the postings I've seen to date indicate a reasonable fix for the issue. I've used Norton's software testing application and it indicates that my Norton Internet Security software is up-to-date, so it's not an issue with old software.
I'd appreciate it if anyone can help remedy this issue that appears to have been around for at least a year with both Norton Internet Security 2011 and Norton Internet Security 2012.
