Outlook 2021 High Handles warning

Ever since a recent Norton update, I have been getting a warning every day that Outlook 2021 has a high handles usage.  It only occurs once shortly after Outlook has started.  I have done the recommended scans and no problems are ever detected.

Is this even a problem?  If so, is it a result of the recent Norton update or a problem with Outlook itself?

Thanks for your reply and for the helpful info.  That is exactly what was happening.  There was an add-in that I didn't even know about which was slowing things down.  I removed it and haven't received a high handles warning since.

Hello. The warning is normal as Norton is alerting you that a program is using high system resources.This Microsoft article may be of help. Check your COM add-ins as described in the article. The warning when Outlook opens is most likely the Norton anti-spam add-in doing its business. Check things to see what others may be using system resources and you aren't aware of it.
