Been running NIS 2011, for a couple of months. I did have an issue initially with the security map, but that has settled down ok thanks to some help from some very helpful people on here.
I have a new minor irritation, when I first start OE6, all stats fine, downloads my e mails and scans them. All fine. If however I close down the OE6 and try say 1/2 later to start OE6 , the Norton anti spam icon is missing, although the folder is still there.
No matter what I do, I cannot get the Spam icon back. If I restart the computer, then shazam it there again, unless I shut it done and we start the process again,.
I keep thinking, to remove it all and start again, but was hoping to avoid all the drag.
Not sure if this has a bearing, but since replacing NIS2006 with 2011 I have noticed, that the computer has slowed somewhat. I was under the impression, that 2011 was less intrusive.
I have also ran several full system checks and there appears not to have any viruses.
