A Note: My opinion is NIS is too intrusive, especially the "pop ups" that essentially say "What a good boy am I."

The most insulting one is the periodic activation check. As a Net Admin I bought countless copies of NIS for work and outside clients; I forked over the bucks and properly activated each instance. Again: Paid for fair and square. Why must I, and every legit owner, be harassed because there are pirates? The first activation is pretty bullet proof. Can't you leave us alone?
EVEN Micro$oft only checks when you want something. M$ has been toppled as "King of Paranoia."
I'm afraid that when subscriptions expire I'll have to move to another product. Are you listening?
