Yesterday I downloaded and installed Norton Add-On Pack with Parental Controls
There is an option in the Parental Control Group Options to block IP addresses. Why should this be checked?
The reason I am asking is: My kids play games on webkinz and when you click log in on the site, it doesn't work.
I tried it on my account which is unrestricted and it shows that the page starts with an IP address.
So I put the ip address under exceptions, and the site log in works now on both my kids accounts, one child, one teen.
Is it ok to put an ip address in the exceptions if I trust the site? They have been playing on this site for at least 4 months. and from what they tell me this is the new craze with kids, these webkinz stuffed animals.
So in summary I still have block IP addresses checked, but under exceptions, I have the IP address of the site, so they can connect to it.
