We use Yahoo webmail. when ever we get an attachment, we click on it, and Yahoo's symantec clears it, then gives a link to download the attachment. It we click on it, nothing happens. If we right click and ask to open in a new window, we get a new window with the following message:
"Site Blocked
Norton Add-on Pack has blocked access to this Web site because it matches the IP Address category for blocked Web sites.
68.142.200.12
To permit access to this site, use Parental Control settings."
We I get home from work, I can use the password to disable parental controls and download the attachment. However, it is not a tolerable situation. These attacments are from safe sources, eg the Girl Scouts, Fry's rebate forms, and others, and there is nothing offensive contained in thedocuments. Disabling Parent Controls all day long is not an option. Is there a reason all attachments are blocked?
68.142.200.12 registers to Yahoo.
Edit: nevermind. I realize that the best way is just to put the IP address as an exception to the list of prohibited sites.
