If i understand correctly your original problem is resolved because in the end a later version was capable of being installed. The

problem now is only that a particular website cannot be accessed. I am not an expert in this area, however, I have no problem accessing this website and there is nothing in the html that I can spot that would cause an issue as you experience.

I would follow Tony's advice. But if you had no joy then I would post the following:

Operating system and release

Norton 360 version and release

Parental control release

Internet browser being use; other internet browsers installed

Non standard add-ins loaded or installed for above browser.

Advice whether you are using default or have modified any of the following for your browser

Security

Privacy

Content (content advisor)

Advanced settings.

I'm sure this will help someone to assist further

The box ‘block IP addresses’ was ticked - Removing this block resolves the problem. So I only assume that somewhere www.tvhomes.org.uk is redirected to host which is detailed by the IP address instead of a domain name?? (I assume) Why would you be more warey of these ?

As you consider that you resolved this yourself it might be very useful to others, if you could give clear instructions on what you did and where you find the "block IP addresses" etc.

I alas cannot quite follow your logic. All domain names resolve to IP addresses and this is the function of DNS - Domain Name Servers. Alas I do not know enough about the functionality of "block IP Addresses."

I am really happy that at least one our your problems is resolved.
