Help please.
Helping a friend out, they have got a 250Gb hdd. Someone had partitioned it into three drives but somehow they only gave C: drive 10Gb, D: drive 40Gb and E: drive 200Gb. (I won’t mess around with the exact sizes so this will do. Lol) Asking me to help, I ran Norton Partition Magic 8 and started to resize the partitions C: and E: drives.
Somehow, along the journey to knowing it all, it seems something went wrong and now the computer won’t boot. Taking the HDD out and putting it into another system, I ran Norton Partition Magic 8 and discovered that it had created a new disk.
Originally, disk one had C,D and E. (It was the only disk showing)
Now I have two disks.
Disk one = 238,472.7Mb……..BAD
Disk two = C, D and E.
My question is, how can I remove disk one without losing any data on disk two?
Disk one is highlighted yellow.
Disk two is highlighted pink.
I do not want to go ahead and format just in case it thinks I want to format everything. I need help here.
Can someone please help me?
Cheers.
BTW:
System specs are:
XP Pro – Service Pack 2
