Hi all.
Yes I'm a noob, and this Q will probably identify me as a muppet immediately, but:
How can I use PQBOOTTX rather than PQBOOT? (I'm actually using PowerQuest PartitionMagic 8, hence the PQ.....)
PQBOOT runs fine from a floppy, but I'd rather use PQBOOTTX to have information about the NTFS partition on the HDD that I'm making active when starting up. Can't get it to run from a MS-DOS startup floppy - entering the .exe name just returns the old 'bad command or filename'.
I need to run PQBOOT, or PQBOOTTX preferably, as running PQBOOTW from a logical drive while I'm using Windows7 doesn't show me all of the partitions that are on the HDD, regardless of compatibility modes. Plus, I'd rather choose my OS at startup than have to boot into my last started OS if I change my mind.
Any help much appreciated.
