Norton Password Manager Android app only shows lasr 3 characters of Password of the chosen site. Browser version shows complete Password.
We.are having the same issue only showing 1 the last character for some passwords on my husbands android only. Im not having the issue, so know all the passwords are there. Also if we hit the edit pencil, it shows all but 2 characters. I can copy and paste the full password. Norton support, please advise ASAP as this is very frustrating.
You both mention password characters being displayed. Is this in the app itself or in the password box on a login page?
Does the login work from that filled password?
You may see my response…sorry about that. The partial PW appears in the app. It’s when you inspect the login information, before you navigate to the site.
I have experienced the same issue in NPM for Android 8.7.4.3491
When viewing a login within the app by clicking on the eye the password is distorted and has anywhere from 3 to 6 characters depending on which login I view.In some cases the full password is revealed with no distortion.
ID and password are auto filled correctly when going to the website via Norton Secure Browser.
I believe it to be a cosmetic issue where the field is not a sufficient size to display the password… In any case I have provided feedback within the app to the development team and urge others to do so also.
I have submitted a feedback form on this as well. I noticed just recently that even though it only displays last 2 characters of the full password, using the copy icon and pasting elsewhere shows full PW…this wasn’t true earlier…pasting it elsewhere just showed the truncated PW, so maybe some fixes have taken place.
