Password Manager app on mac does not let me see notes added to logins. Can this be fixed?

Issue abstract: The Password Manager app on my Macs does not let me view the notes section for logins. This is a problem only with this app. I’d like a fix, please.

Detailed description: Many of my login entries in Password Manager have notes with confidential PII and other information I need for that login. When I open the Norton Safe Web app and sign in on either my iMac or MacBook, I can use the app to access the corresponding website, and I can edit the associated Title, login URL, Username, and Password information for that entry with no problem. But I cannot access the notes I have created for the login entries. Those notes contain information I need to keep secure, so I can’t put it in, for example, the Mac Contacts app.

I have no problem accessing those notes on my iPad or iPhone Password Manager app, or on my Mac through Firefox. So I can work around the problem, but I’d prefer not to have to resort to a workaround. There is no problem with my accessing the notes I’ve entered in the “Notes” section of the app, which suggests that this problem does not arise from a technical limitation of the app. I’m sure I’m not the only person who has this problem.

I have two questions:

  1. How can I get the app on my Mac to display the note information associated with login entires?
  2. If that feature is not available at present, when will it be added to the app?

I’m experiencing the exact same issue on my Macs, and I’m honestly surprised no one else has chimed in since this was first posted. Everything works normally on my iPhone, iPad, and even through my other browsers on my Mac, but the standalone Password Manager app on macOS still refuses to display the notes for any login. It definitely feels like something specific to the Mac app rather than a limitation of the service itself.

I’d really like to know whether there’s a fix or if this feature just isn’t supported yet on macOS. It would be great to get some clarity on when (or if) this will be addressed.

Thanks.
