Password not recognized. Vault crashing

I've been using the vault feature for the longest time now. I find it very useful since I've got more than 60 logins. Last month I was helped remotely since my password (the password for my account, not the password to the vault) didn't work in the pre-step to login into the vault. In the first place, this password is stored somewhere since it doesn´t ask for it everytime, it just needs to verify once and then your vault is setup to login with the vault password each time. What is happening is that that pre-step is being asked again and the password to my account is rejected even though it is correct. When they conected remotely, the helpdesk operator replaced several files from my norton installation making me wonder what went wrong, but it worked and stopped bothering. The same problem just happened again. What is the issue? Also, I´ve been experiencing norton 360 entirely crashing when login into the vault (apart of the issue described above). Anybody else in my position?
