This afternoon I have been encountering some strange/patchy behaviour from norton file insight. Having downloaded a number of exe files (from a legitimate/trustworthy source) Norton file insight auto ran each time and always came up with unable to gather data (or some equivilant message). Having checked each file manually with file insight it again always showed Unknown, Unknown, Unproven etc for no. users/age/rating. Now only a few minutes later it shows most of these files as thousands of users, mature and good, while others are still unknown/unknown/unproven.
I'm just wondering if anyone else is/has experienced similar behaviour and what might be the cause.
