If I buy a copy of Norton Ghost 15, is the payment a one off or do I have to pay a subscription every year like antivirus software. Also do I qualify for any discount as I have a registered version of Norton 360v6.

Did you do an actual renewal from Norton? If so, renewals are almost always more expensive than just purchasing a new subscription. 

The pricing on the new subscriptions can also change from week to week. 

You can contact Norton Support and request a refund on your renewal, and make the purchase at the new discounted price. Or maybe the agent can just refund you the difference.    www.norton.com/contactcs
