Over the past two days I have been having problems logging into PayPal. When I get to the log-in page Norton fills in the email information but the password field remains blank. If I try to add the password by hand, then the login does not work unless I also close down the Norton infobar. So the only way I can log into my PayPal account is by telling Norton to ignore the PayPal site and enter the login information by hand. Note...I have checked and I am not being directed to a phishing site as I clearly am logged into my account. Also, I am using Internet Explorer and Windows 8.1. Also note that I have reported the PayPal login site as not working properly with Norton by using the drop-down menu from the Vault.
Just tried it in Chrome with the same results. One interesting difference, however, is that when I reach the PayPal login page the Norton Toolbar disappears in Chrome but it reappears for other sites.
Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on how to solve it?
Thanks, Ken
This morning the site began to work properly again.....don't know what caused the problem in the first place nor what "cured" it....but it is okay for now.
