Ever since installing the latest NIS i keep gettin 'windows explorer has stopped working' error message and has to restart sometimes failing altogher and only a reboot will do. it doesnt matter what i seem to be doing at the time, it just happens at intermittent intervals, ruining my PC and can be as often as once a minute.
the last AV i had was norton 2012 and never had any problems and im thinking some remnants of that leftover is causing it, though i dont relly know. i used the norton uninstaller program to uninstall it.
the reason i know its norton is that when i unintalled it the problem went away. i then did a thorough clean up of my PC and reinstalled, which seemed to fix the problem but after a couple of days its back again :((
i'm currently using W7 64bit installed on a SSD and have never had this problem ever before.
can someone pls help? otherwise ive wasted money buying a product i cant use!
