PC needs disk optimization but then says not needed

I continue to get the message that my PC needs a tune up to run disk optimization. Once I click "fix now" and it goes through its fix, I receive a message that disk optimization isn't necessary, but it doesn't clear the flag on my Norton icon. What gives?

This notification has been on my computer now for 4-5 days. It doesn't go away once I use "fix it" or after the message appears that the computer doesn't need disk optimization. I suppose I can just ignore it.

I don’t have 360 so I’m guessing now, but can you disable the function then restart the computer and then enable the function?
