PC Offline

I have just upgraded Microsoft Office 2003 to 2007. It created all sorts of problems that I have just about sorted.

My one remaining problem is internet access on my wireless network. The network all looks OK, all the lights are on on the router and I can get access to the internet on my laptop.

My desktop (which I upgraded) will not connect to the internet. When I look at the network using Norton on my laptop it shows the PC as offline although it is actually on and working?? If I look at the network via my PC it says "can't probe your network this may be caused by tunneling protocols eg vpn."

I have switched the Norton firewall off and on, no change.

I have then looked at the Network adaptors on my PC via device manager and it has a yellow question mark against "Symantec Network Security Miniport". When I click on it is says "windows cannot start this hardware device becasue it's configuration information in the registry is incomplete or damaged (code 19)."

Any suggestions
