PC rebooting every 5-10 min and leaving folders with SQL files behind

Since 3 am this morning, my pc has been rebooting itself every 5-10 minutes.  In the short time I can do anything on it, I've seen that it does allow me access the symantec website, get the latest virus updates, and do everything as if it's running normally.  My hard drive is partitioned into several drives and 3 of those are filled with garbage folders with names such as "csdh32093de3d23h1a1."  Inside the folder is  \1033  and \hotfixes and \hotfixes\files.  I can delete some of the files in these folders except I get access denied on sqlse.rll, hotfix.rll, sqlhotfix.chm, finalsql2005information.rtf, sqlexp.exe.  $shtdwn$.reg and other files are also created, but can be deleted.

In Safemode, I ran the full virus scan and nothing came up.  I ran the conficker worm tool just in case and it found nothing. I am currently scanning the hard drive from another pc and so far no viruses are detected.  The machine appears to have no problems when running in safemode.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thx!
