I appologize if this is a bad place for this issue.
I purchased Symantec PC Tools spyware online in 2009 and use it for few times and then tossed it away as I did't think it is very useful. I did not realized that PCT enable auto-renewal until I noticed PCT charged me some $30 on Aug 24 w/o my authorization
Much to my annoyance, I send two emails to PCT asking for cancellation and have no reponse so far. I search google with key word "PC Tools renewal" (w/o double-quote) and find quite a few complaints about this filthy flaund!
I kinda feel PCT robs me in broad daylight. What can I do to get my money back?
I don't know if Symantec is aware of this issue. May I solicit a comment from Symantec?

The fastest way I know of to resolve this issue is to go on the PC Tools Forum and post this issue there or send a PM to AChen on that Forum explaining the issue. You will have to join to Forum to post. AChen has resolved many of these issues about automatic renewals. Hope this helps. Link to the Forum: http://www.pctools.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=54
Thank you all for your responses. I did try sending a message to the PCT forum. I was not successful because PCT bans all email addresses.
As to the auto-renewal FAQ, It does help me to disable the auto-renewal, however, the instruction about how to refund is joke. I filed a ticket against PCT at Aug 24, they did (automatically) confirm the ticket. However, there is no response (other than the confirm) so far.
I believe it is a fraud.
I don't much care about the $30 robbed by the PCT! I abhor the despicable business practice!
I am wondering why Symantec acquire such evil company?
I am traveling. When I return back to US, maybe I can stop by the company asking what justify them to rob me. In the mean time, I will write complains to BBB and amazon.com.

That's not their fault.

Don't fill up this Norton forum by whining about a different product. That's like whining about your Taco Bell taco at KFC. (They're owned by the same corporation.)

What does that mean, exactly? You "send a message" to the PCT forum just like you do for this Norton forum (register, post).
Do you expect anyone to believe that you got PCT a year ago, don't know how to post to _their_ forum, but you were somehow able to make your _first ever_ post in this Norton forum? That's just not believable. We're not hearing the whole story.
I switch AV products from time to time. I used PCT immediately before going with NIS last year. The PCT SD forum is very helpful with solving any problems that users have.

I thought PCT is acquired by Symantec...
Ok, I will not send follow-up to this forum again.

The forum does not allow me to register a account and hence I am not able to send a message over there. This is reported some other complains as well.
