To your second question, look from help&support, if your version starts with 2, then it is N360 v.2.

Hi,

I appreciate your response. I have checked it, and under Support in the About section it does indeed say I only have version 1. This is so frustrating, because I had only bought it about a couple weeks ago, if that, for $103.68 from the Symantec website, and now I just realised the new version is available for $79.99. I hadn't even seen that at the time!

Anyways, thank you.

You can also take advantage of the FREE UPDATE to Norton 360 v2, with your valid subscription to Norton 360 v1. “Free” is a better deal than $79. :smileywink:

Hi,

I have just upgraded Norton 360 to the latest version and it has worked really well. The best thing, after making the mistake of paying more for the previous version than if I had simply bought the latest version in the first place, was that I was at least able to upgrade to version 2 without any additional charges. That is just great, and I appreciate the fact I was informed aobut that possibility. It is rare that people actually let on when there is a good offer available! It is much appreciated, and I can now manually change the settings so not to erase the Internet Browser History anymore, plus there are plenty of additional features with version 2. For instance, even just to log in here I was able to use Norton 360 in a very convenient way.

Thank you all of you!

Hi,

I recently updated to v 6.0 of Norton 360 and still trying to iron out setting but can't find the settings for PC Tuneup disk defragmentation.  I have a SSD for main drive and on v5.0 you could turn defragmentation off, where is it on 6.0?
