pcAnywhere changes screen resolution

I am using pcAnywhere to access a client's workstations which run GE iFIX.  We recently switched the workstations and iFIX from running at 1024x768 to 1280x1024.

 

iFIX doesn't like it when the screen resolution is decreased while it is running.  It messes up the control screens and requires restarting the workspace. 

 

Whenever I log in or out of pcAnywhere it acts like the screen momentarily reverts to 1024x768 and messes up iFIX.  Why would pcAnywhere change its resolution when I log in?  I don't have the match client desktop resolution option set.  Is there a set of temp files or a cache I should clear out?
