How do I make Norton STOP REMOVING my PCReviver software, which Norton thinks is a "security threat"?
@John Estano DeRoche:
I think you can also Report a Suspected Erroneous Detection here. Because the Quick Scan can automatically remove PC Reviver.
@John Estano DeRoche:
Please check out the attached screenshots and let me know if those are what you were exactly referring to:
(My Norton Security with Backup (NSBU) flagged nothing.)
Furthermore, I can run PC Reviver (2.12.2.2) while using the LATEST NSBU.
Then, you:
- plz try updating your Norton software to the newest build by running LiveUpdate. Restart your Windows when ready. And, you had better disable Fast Startup (please Google how to do that) if you're using a Windows 10/8.1/8 computer.
- then, plz try reinstalling your PC Reviver later.
For more info, you may Chat with Norton Support.
Please post back if this or any other comment solves your problem. THX...

And, when it comes to "Disk Cleaner", have you checked this page@ Microsoft site for free tips? All in all, personally, you don't need so-called multi-purpose utility to keep your system clean.
Norton doesn't think much of PCReviver, and it doesn't have that good a reputation.
However if you wish to keep it, go to Settings>Antivirus>Scans and Risks, and you can then exclude it.
