Hi all. This is my first forum post here -- just registered a minute ago for one specific reason which is to see what Norton software users consider to be a normal performance alert frequency, whether the amount of times I receive these alerts is high, what that could mean in terms of potential damage to anything, and what I should do about it. First off, I've been pushing my laptop pretty hard recently, but I just took a look at Norton performance system insights and just calculated that over the past week I've been averaging between 14 and 15 of these performance alerts a day. That strikes me as a lot since over the entire month of October I was averaging between 7 and 8 per day. I'm I concerned over nothing or am I pushing my PC harder than it was designed for and if so, is there anything I can do about it in terms of upgrading certain components? Most of the alerts are regarding high disk read usage, high disk write usage, or both and I've had several days where I was alerted over 20 times.
