n Norton 360 under the “Performance” tab, “File Cleanup” no longer displays “Chrome Temporary Files.” Cleanup only “cleans” Windows Temporary Files and Internet Explorer Temporary Files
There seems to be a lot of these post with no solution for over a couple of years. Does the Norton company have any solution or reason why this is? Have they reached out to Google for help? Is there any updated info someone could supply? thanks
Yes I have been having the same problem for more than 30 days and nothing works. The response from GURU bjm was not helpful.
What can we do to get Norton to clean up Chrome? Enabling Norton extensions on Chrome does not work either.
Hello @MLL65
Maybe, Norton v22.24.8.36 [here] has helpful fix.
Maybe, Norton support has updated info.
Please post progress
I’m afraid not. v22.24.8.36 installed on Sept. 17 still does not resolve failure to clean up Chrome.
fwiw ~ my v24.9.9452 recognizes Chrome
Hopefully, you’ll receive v24 soon and your v24 will recognize Chrome
Caveat: I run CCleaner
