Phantom control of My Computer

My old computer died by a lightning strike and purchased a new one.  The new one is a Dell Inspiron 24 5410 with Windows 11.

I later noticed that my cursor was moving on its own.  I changed the cusor color to bright purple in order to catch this movement.  A short time later Amazon got charges for gift cards (virtual) to download music.  I reported it to Amazon and my credit card company.  I follow up changing passwords and having a new credit card issued.   All went quiet with the occasional phantom movement, until It tried to order additional virtual gift cards again, but I stopped it.

I want the phantom removed from my computer.  The phantom seem to be controlled via my Wifi connection, if Wifi is off there is no phantom.  This last episode it even esisted my turning off the Wifi until I physically unplug it.

I need to get rid of this phantom which appears to be a live remote hacker.  What can I do to eliminate this intrustion?  My Norton 360 does not see it.  It even came in through VPN until I shut it down too.

HELP!

And if you really believe there is some malware on your machine that is not being detected you should do a clean install of Windows wiping your hard drive clean and start over.

But as SendofJive has said there are many other reasons why your cursor is moving as conflicting software can play havoc with your CPU response time.

You can also try scanning with the free Malwarebytes scanner or even Microsoft Defender as a second opinion.

What, exactly, is the connection between the cursor movements and the gift card orders?  If items are being purchased on your Amazon account, you need to secure that account with a new strong password and two-factor authentication, which Amazon offers.  Is your WiFi secured with WPA2 or WPA3 encryption?  If not, you need to set that up in the router.  That will pretty much prevent anyone from getting on your wireless network.  A mouse moving on its own may have several causes that are not malicious:  https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-11-cursor-moves-fix/.
