I opened an e-mail before realizing it was an obvious scam. I ran quick scan with NIS2014 and it showed nothing. I went through some of the security history settings and noticed the latest antiphising definitions update was Feb 24, four months ago. I have Live Update on but manually updated anyway and refreshed the list but nothing new was added. I'm now worried that something might have slipped through.
Recent activity showed an IPS detection statistical submission the same time as I opened the email so I hope that means NIS did something.
Can anyone shed some light to set my mind at ease or tell me how to fix whatever is wrong? Thanks.
