I’m writing to escalate a critical issue. baxterdentalsurgery.com.au has been incorrectly flagged as phishing by Norton for several months, and I’ve submitted approximately 10 false positive reports with zero response or resolution.
About the site:
Legitimate dental practice — Baxter Dental Surgery, Mornington Peninsula, Australia
Licensed dentists, full service practice, member of Australian Dental Association
The problem:
Norton is blocking patient access — clients cannot load the website when Norton Antivirus is active
Users receive a phishing warning
Significant business impact — patients cannot book appointments, access information, view services with antivirus active.
The site has SSL/HTTPS enabled, no malware, no suspicious scripts — completely legitimate
What I’ve done:
Submitted 10+ false positive reports through official Norton channels, no reponse and nothing happened.
Verified the site has no actual phishing/malware issues
Confirmed SSL certificate validity
Checked against multiple security scanners (all clean)
Still — no response, no resolution, no updates from Norton
virus total website give us clean website
What I need:
Escalation to Norton’s technical review team (not automated support)
Expedited review of the phishing classification
Timeline for resolution
Removal of the false phishing flag
This is a legitimate business being harmed by an incorrect detection. Please tag @NortonSupport — this needs urgent escalation.
Norton Submission Portal is used for submitting false positive reports.
Verified site owners generally have access to a dashboard where they can see the status of their site and any pending disputes.
If the status of your site has not changed – on the Safe Web public lookup – after 48 business hours – contact official Norton Support directly. Explicitly tell the agent: “I have already submitted a site dispute via the Safe Web portal more than 48 hours ago and have not received a status update.” This often prompts support to escalate the ticket manually.

Norton Submission Portal does not send automated confirmation or status update emails, even when an email address is provided.

We’ll try to call attention: No promises. No timeline.
