Phishing Protection is repeatedly disabled

Hi there -

 

Can anyone offer insight into why my NIS phishing protection is disabled every time I launch internet explorer? I manually fix it each time and yet when I close IE and reopen, the phishing protection is disabled again. I recently updated to Internet Explorer 8. Could that be the problem or could something else be going on? All my other NIS features are working and up to date.

Aha... I knew I should have waited before installing ie8!! Thought it would solve some problems but now I've inherited others instead!

For right now if you want to avoid problems, revert back to IE7. What problems with IE7 were you trying to resolve?

 

Personally I'm in no rush for IE8; I'll wait until it's right.

Are you using NIS 2009 or NIS 2008?

IE8 is still in beta and is having some issues. Please see this post which describes your problem.
