Please advise - how can I stop the popups?

I continually get repeated Norton popups telling me that an app is trying to use the internet, despite all their boxes being ticked for "Don't ask again for this application"  AND the Settings being unchecked for "Notify me..."   Please advise - how can I stop the popups?

My system: MacBook Pro 2015 using macOS Catalina 10.15.6

Where is the Mac board?

I've asked your thread be moved to the Mac board for better exposure.

Windows users have been complaining about this for some time now with no resolution.
