Why is it taking so long to correct the slow start up of NIS 2013? Once the Norton icon appears, which takes longer than it should, it now takes and additional two to three minutes for the RED X to turn to a green check mark! What the heck is going on here? NIS 2012 did not do this.
Does Symantec even care that their product does not run as it should once they have your money? Not a word from them on this issue.
If they can't correct the slow startup issue it makes you wonder how well this program really works. Is it really protecting us?
Maybe Microsoft Security Essentials that is free and works well is the better choice?
