Hello,
I have two Trojan.shipli viruses and i pressed the info button and got the link to the symantec website. The steps for removal were:
- Disable System Restore
- Update the virus definitions.
- Run a full system scan.
- Delete any values added to the registry.
I thought it was obligatory to do this in chronological order so i started with the disabling of the system restore. That worked well after i found a website on the net which explained clearly how to do this. Number two i have problems with, I have been looking for really long on the net but i never found anything about how to get these applications needed for this. The help files are all made for "Howto run liveupdate" but none are about how to get it. There is one called How to get and install liveupdate but it has no information on either. I am using windows Vista and a Norton Security Scan 2.0.0.87
If anyone could make a dummie guide for step 2 it would help really much. 
If anyone needs anymore information on the version of applications i have please tell me how to findout and i will do my best searching for it.
