Let me start by introducing myself.
I am an instructor. I have a suite of computers connected to two servers.
Each server is re-rolled every week to its basic config. On the first server, the students set up things like microsoft exchange and active directory. Once they have completed that, they then log on to the second server where exchange and active directory has already been configured but has faults on for them to work through.
Once the students have completed both parts of this exercise, each server and each computer (14 in total) is recovered to the original backups so the next course can begin from scratch.
We have noticed that when logging back on to the server after recovery, we have to rename the domain on some computers for them to be able to log on to the server.
The software we are using is Acronis.
So what am i doing in Nortons forums?
I am no expert in this field and would like some advice on whether it would be beneficial to upgrade to a different software package. I would like if possible to roll back all servers and workstations in one, rather than having to go round each computer and performing this task several times and also to not have to rejoin the domain as mentioned before.
Can anyone please advise me on this.
