today i sent an undetected malware to norton from this link ( https://submit.symantec.com/websubmit/retail.cgi )
so since i had a bad experience from before this about Norton virus response ( i have a sample which i submitted it about 14 month ago but still i have not any email but that email which tell me what is my tracking number.. ) anyway, i tried chat support and ask them whats the normal time for analysing a sample in Norton VirLab? well support said 3-4 WEEKS take time ! excuse me ? one sample 3-4 WEEKS ? OMG! anyway... almost we all know how much this virus response time in Norton Symantec is horrible ! so i'm talking to the Employees and official Norton staffs, what is going on with you guys? do you want keep us safe? do you offer us any services while we paying renew our subscribe ?? or just we can active your software and run a Scan? :) i cant underestand what are you doing there !!! what is happening in your virus lab Norton !!!! forget about this 1 sample which i sent today, last year i sent you a pack of 9 samples! still have not any answer :| really? no really ?
maybe you dont know how much your vir lab are slow ! lets give you some examples
some companies which i am aware of their vir lab situation:
DrWeb - maximum 4 hours
Kaspersky - almost 1 hours
Avira - maximum 3 days
Avast - maximum 2 days
McAfee - maximum 5 days
Trend Micro - maximum 3 days
...... so what is wrong with you guys? why so slow? i'm done with this . i want an official answer from a official person in Norton or Symantec company.
