Please Improve the way we can send false positives, and or missed malware

Hello,

Lately, Norton has had some false positives.  It is such a pain to go to a website and to upload the file, write everything out etc.

I notice on some malware that it has picked up there is no way to submit it, and it is a generic malware, and I have no idea if it has been cleaned as it has been given a generic name. If it was given a specific name then I would feel that Norton, knew what it was and fixed it completely.

I found that today, Norton was blocking Malwarebytes from doing something.  It was a notice in the firewall section.  Now, I think what ever Norton picked up on and stopped from going through the firewall, was probably a legitimate function of malwarebytes.   Though in the history area, of norton there is no clipboard, or a way to submit it.  So I had to export it, and upload it onto the website, and I have no idea if I did it right.

I feel there needs to be a better way to submit missed malware, and false positives. I have had two other false positives, one was zemana a well know anti malware program I was testing out, and another one that is well know but I took it off my computer and I forgot the name, but it was well  know in the antivirus community, so I don't believe this program had any problems, and it was a false positive.

I don't usually report anything, usually once or twice a year, but I have been looking more closely at my logs and finding things that are being blocked that shouldn't be, or are being marked as malware that are not malware, or things norton is not picking up on that I would like to submit, to keep the database of malware current.

I hope you can come up with a easier way to report these things from within the Norton interface, so we can continue to make Norton one of the best Anti Everything programs out there.

Sincerely,

Michael
