Please provide status update for connectivity issues with Norton Family

Since the Norton Family update that got applied to our family computer Sunday morning we have been completely unable to access the internet from that computer.  I'm only guessing, but I bet you'd be hearing a lot more complaints if folks affected by this problem could reach the internet!

 

Days ago you posted a note (Connectivity Issues with Norton Family)  stating that your team is aware of the problem and looking into it,  and status updates would be posted on that thread.  Could you please give us an update on what you are doing to resolve this problem?  Your software is holding our computers hostage and we, your paying customers, deserve to know what you are doing to fix the problem.  Keeping us in the dark is an amateurish response not worthy of a company of Symantec's reputation.
