I recently installed and ran Norton 360 on my computer and at the end of one of the scans it asked me if I wanted my tracking cookies to be automatically deleted, which I enabled.
The problem is, whenever I log into anything and select "remember me" it doesn't because of the tracking cookie being deleted.
I have looked all over the settings and I cannot find how to turn this feature OFF, it's really very annoying that everytime I want to check my e-mail I have to sign in again.
If anyone knows how to disable this feature, please let me know.
I'm running NAV and in that program there is a setting under computer settings where you can set tracking cookie scan to ignore which is what I have done. I scan my cookies every night manually and delete the ones i don't want. You can also set your browser to allow the cookies that you want and delete the others. Please check the interface and see if you can find the setting for cookie tracking. I don't know if N360 has that feature or not.
I have checked the Antivirus scan settings, it does have options for delete, ask me or ignore tracking cookies but it made no difference what setting I had this on.
Also, I have checked the settings in Mozilla Firefox (which I use instead of internet explorer) and it is set to allow cookies.
