I'm unable to upload an html file to my website hosted on godaddy.com, but I understand that if I put the verification code in my meta data tag on my homepage of my website (hiltonheadvillaretreat.com) that I can ask for it to be manually verified for Norton Web Safe. I have put the correct code in the meta data tag on the home page. Can verify the website and let me know when you have? I wish my website be tested and approved.
Thanks,
Scott

The authentication code in your nortonsw meta tag is properly placed and I shall notify the Safe Web team who will manually verify site ownership. Allow them a day or two to respond back to you in this thread.
Once ownership has been verified, your site will be queued for evaluation.
Be sure the code remains in place until ownership is verified. Leaving the code in the meta tag will not affect your site or the visitor's experience.

Thanks - one last question. I understand about leaving the meta data tag until my ownership is verified. It sounds like I can remove it once verified and evaluated with no bad consequence, correct?
