Poor customer support

You only know how good a service is. When you get a problem.  I have a problem that has not been fixed, I have tried day after day no joy. I can only think I wasted my money, asked for a refund no joy there. Think hard before you purchase NORTON.

I agree with you 100% Norton has very poor customer support for their products !!!!!

.I started having this error when trying to run Nortons Power Eraser. In fact I have been having problems with my Norton Security with Backup ever since I bought a new laptop with Windows 10 in Febuary 2017 How many times when using my Norton product it will stop running a box will pop up stating windows is checking for a problem and will notify me when there is a solution but of course there never is a solution.How many times a Norton technician has tried to fix this problem for me they never seem to be able to fix this.Now today I try using my Norton's Power Tool I keep getting this error code 0x80004005,n5,nco.I had a Norton technician help me remove McAfee security program that came with my new laptop before I downloaded Norton Internet Security with backup onto my new laptop because they say you can't have two antivirus products together and I still keep having problems with my Norton product .When its time for me to renew my Norton product(been using Norton products for the last 7 years)  I am not renewing it I will be looking for a different virius protection program because I am so dissgusted with Norton !!!! Isuggest you look for another anti virus program because I don't think Norton will be fixing their problems they have with their product not being compatible with Windows 10

As I mentioned in my reply to your PM, we do not encourage support by PM.

You mentioned having a  McAfee trial for your machine.  If this is still installed along side Norton it can interfere even if you have never activated it.  I strongly recommend uninstalling McAfee if you have Norton Security installed, then follow up with the McAfee uninstall utility  -  https://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS101331.

As you are seeing this error while running Norton Power Eraser I wiill ask you post to be moved to the Other Norton Products board.

Perhaps you can provide some details, like your Operating System, Which security program you have installed and which version, where you see this error, and any other details you can provide that will help as we cannot see your machine so as much relevant detail as possible will help.

did Support try fix and give up..?   Please share problem with Norton.
