Hi,
I've been having this problem some time now and I'm not confident the Indian support people are able to solve it. I've spend hours and hours behind my PC watching support remotely de-/install the virus software. Checking and unchecking settings. One time a supporter suggested I leave the E-mail checking off all together, did so and said her goodbyes. I did of course not accept this.
The problem is annoying and what is worse, intermittent. Today I decided to activate the E-mail scanning again and it works normally again. I had this very thing during a support chat so I couldn't reproduce at that specific moment. A day later the problem was back again.
I don't want to talk to some Indian person anymore. I would like to have some decent support from Norton. If anyone of Norton reads this my casenumber ID# is: XXXXXXXX
