POP-UP messages

I'm watching full screen streaming video and Nortons SS 2010 keeps interupting it with pop-up messages generally telling me there is nothing wrong.

 

By interrupt, I mean Nortons forces tthe video out of full screen so I have toolbars etc. - I'll reset the video and 30 minutes or so later it comes up again and proudly tells me there is nothing wrong!!!! Struth! give me a break!

 

I though Silent Mode or Quiet mode migh stop it - but quiet mode wants an application - this is a web URL.
