Pop up notices take focus

I have a problem on the latest version of Norton 360 Premier Edition that any time some form of pop up notice is given by Norton 360, it takes the Windows focus away from what every other window may have had it at the time.

This was not an issue on previous versions of the product (like Norton 360 Premier Edition V6).  I would see the notices, but they would NOT steal the focus.

I do like to see these notices, but if they are going to continue to steal the focus like that, I may have to turn them off.

Can anyone tell me a way of still having the notices pop up, but without having them steal focus?

I'm not sure how I would check for that kind of thing on the Mouse.

It very specifically started to happen when I upgraded from the version designated as Norton 360 V6 Premier Edition to the latest version which does not have the V# part in the name.

It gets very annoying when I am in the middle of typing a password (and I am looking at the keyboard at the time) and look back up only to see most of the password is missing because a pop up notice stole the focus as I typed.   The pointer is usually somewhere near that password field, and not down in the corner where the notices pop.

Because of the timing of when this started to happen (with the install of the latest version), it seems doubtful that a mouse configuration is the cause.  However, if you can give me an idea of what to look at, I will do so.

From your further info it does not sound like a mouse issue. Under "All programs" you might have keybaord and mouse settings or just mouse settings or say Logitech Mouse settings. Depends on your mouse. If that does not sound likely, then I do not have another suggestion and you should wait for advice from others.

I am still having this problem.  It would appear that it was a product change done for the current version.  Is there any chance it can be changed back to not take focus when a pop up notice box from Norton 360 Premier Edition occurs?
