HP- i was connected to tech support through their virtual assistant. she directed me. to. a different team that could help and asked me to call 470-428-9632. I did, he was nice, i gave him all. my personal info and cant believe this, i let him have access to my computer, afterall, he came directly from HP. Im so stupid. I was desperate to get a solution, and HP connected me, so I knew it had to be legitimate. he tried hard sell third party purchase. I eventually disconnected and hopefully he has no further access to my computer. He kept calling me back offering other network system firewall products at lower rates and asked me to call. back at 844-312-2225. I did not give him credit card info, but i am still really scared of what damage he did or if he still has access to my computer. I am losing sleep. any advice? i looked up the numbers and of course reported them as unsafe, but no. other info available. can norton see if third party on my Mac?
