I have recently received several messages saying I need to upgrade my browser, acrobat reader, or other addins. The browser tab in all cases read sponsorship. These message appear while computer is logged on and connected to my provider (AT&T) DSL via a router and modem. firewalls are installed and active. (Norton internet security and hardware in the router)

I was unable to determine the address associated with the click here button.
As all of my internet related programs are current, I did not click on the button.
Browser IE8 or IE provided by AOL (desktop 9.7).
