Potential Threat Warning Messages

I keep getting Potential Threat messages from Norton Security regarding MacKeeper on my iMac (A potential threat was detected at /private/var/root/.Trash/MacKeeper.app/Contents/Plugins/LeftoversCleaner.plugin/Contents/MacOS/LeftoversCleaner!

Would you like to delete it?)

I get a ton of these on the daily and  I can't seem to make them go away.  I click Delete and then it tells me it can't find the file.  Its an endless loop.

I saw a post from last year that recommended using leftovers cleaner from the iTunes store, I searched and can't find an app with that title. I am running Mac Mojave OS on my Mac Book Air.
