During a full system scan, Norton Security terminated during a brief power outage. Can no longer boot machine - "Registry can't load hive (file)". Can I boot using either the NIS2011 or Norton Utilities CD to repair? If so, please detail. If not, must I reinstall WinXP (and lose my data)? No matter what I try, machine reverts to the error "STOP C0000218".
Please advise.
