I'm considering, Norton™ Safety Minder NortonMobile.
What options have been put in place to prevent uninstalls by the phone user???
Norton Safety Minder for Android will force the user to issue the username and password of the Norton Account that you signed up with. So unless your child has that data, the product cannot be uninstalled.
So how do you uninstall Safety Minder on Android? I installed it on my phone to see what it was like, and now I can't uninstall it.
I am not prompted for the email address/password when I try to uninstall. I only get error message "Uninstall not successful" It's version 2.3.0
You have to go into location and security and uncheck the Device Administrator for Norton Safety Minder, it will then prompt you for an email and password.
Awesome! Thank you! I searched all the FAQ's, Forums etc and couldn't find out how. That worked. Now, on to install it on the kids phone.
