Hi,
We all know that Symantec failed to build in an "always block" button on NIS Privacy Control. You have to click block the private data over and over again in order to just browse a website. A pain in the butt. I learned, however, that when the Private Information Alert popped up, I could scan with my cursor to select block once [okay, you have to do it over and over and over again.]
A couple of days ago I ran live update. Now the Private Information Alert won't even allow me to use the cursor key to select "block once" [over and over and over again]. In other words, I now have to get my mouse, click the @$@## down arrow, select block once, and do that over and over and over again. Heck, I can't even make the selection by clicking the diaglogue box and hitting enter. I must take my mouse and click on okay [over and over and over again]. Norton Privacy is really becoming too much trouble. It is so annoying that now I am just having to allow the website to have the private information because NIS is a greater risk on my sanity than the risk of someone actually stealing the data. Symantec is making the product too much trouble to use.
Has anyone else been troubled by this problem? Does anyone have a work around other than going back to Zone Alarm?
